$11.3M Award For Global Company To Keep Operations In Parsippany: Report

Ogilvy CommonHealth one of 10 New Jersey businesses to receive incentive this week.

PARSIPPANY, N.J. – A global corporation with headquarters in Parsippany was just given 11.3 million reasons to keep its operations in the Garden State.

Under the Economic Development Authority’s Grow New Jersey program, Ogilvy CommonHealth Worldwide will receive $11.3 million over 10 years. That would create 60 new full-time jobs and retain 447 full-time positions, according to njbiz.com.

Ogilvy is a health behavior change specialist with offices in New York, London, Paris, and Singapore. Ogilvy was one of 10 New Jersey companies to receive awards this week for the purposes of keeping business in state rather than relocating.

The EDA projects a $5.9 million benefit to the state over the next 20 years, the report said.

The most notable award was a $22.8 million Grow New Jersey award for Quality Packaging Specialists International who can now expand operations in-state rather than moving to Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, the report said.

Also receiving funding in Morris County is Mane USA, Inc., a flavor manufacturer and distributor in Morris Plains. The EDA approved a 10-year, $7.6 million award over the course of 10 years for Mane that is projected to create 44 new full-time jobs and retain 146 full-time positions.

The EDA projects a $46.1 million benefit to New Jersey over 20 years.
