2 Hospitalized, Sex Assault Investigated After Underage Drinking Party: Cops

Boonton Twp. police responded to noise complaint Tuesday night and found large party at someone's home, authorities said.

An underage drinking party in Morris County ended with two girls in the hospital and one claiming she was sexually assaulted.

On Tuesday, June 21, Boonton Township Police responded to a home on Deer Trail for a noise complaint, police said.

When officers arrived at 10:15 p.m., they found a large underage drinking party, and while on scene found two underage juvenile females who were “highly intoxicated” and required medical attention, police said.

One of the females told police she was sexually assaulted at the party, and both were taken by ambulance to a local hospital, police said.

Police have launched an investigation into the sexual assault claim along with the unlawful possession and consumption of alcohol that occurred on the property.
