4 Parsippany Students Qualify For Statewide Geography Bee

N.J. winner will compete at national contest in Washington D.C. in May.

PARSIPPANY, N.J. – Four geography whizzes from Parsippany are about to show their stuff on a statewide level after qualifying for the New Jersey Geography Bee.

Jake Hockwitt, Kinjal Potdar, David Edmiston, and Joe Wentworth, all of Brooklawn Middle School, have qualified for the Bee, which was held Friday, April 1.

State Bee competitors are in grades four through eight. The statewide winner then goes on to compete at the National Geographic Society headquarters in Washington, D.C. from May 22 to 25.
