PARSIPPANY, NJ — Back-to-school planning has already begun in Parsippany, with calendars available to help parents prepare for the first day in the Parsippany-Troy Hills Township School District.
The first day of school for most students in Parsippany is Sept. 5.
Heading into the upcoming school year, some dates are subject to change. Here is the list of dates to know for this school year:

- First Day: Sept. 5
- Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 23 and 24
- Winter Break: Dec. 25 through Jan. 1
- Spring Break: April 1 through April 5
- Last Day: June 19
