Bernie Or Hillary? Morris Dems Vote On Who To Support

171 ballots cast in Parsippany Thursday night.

PARSIPPANY, N.J. – Morris County Democratic Committee members convened Thursday night at Parsippany Hills High School to cast their support for one of this year’s presidential candidates.

After lobbying by several members and a vote, the choice was clear: Hillary Clinton beat out Bernie Sanders by a tally of 118 to 53, according to dailyrecord.com.

Former U.S. Senator Robert Torricelli spoke in support of the Clinton campaign, claiming the former First Lady had more experience heading into the position than any candidate before her, the report said.
