Body Of Missing Boater Found In Morris County Lake
Following reports of a missing man, New Jersey State Police discovered the body of a 76-year-old male on Tuesday night.

MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — The body of a Morris County boater was found in the waters of Lake Hopatcong on Tuesday night, according to New Jersey State Police.
The 76-year-old man has not been publicly identified, authorities said.
Sergeant Philip Curry of the New Jersey State Police said troopers responded to a marina on Lake Hopatcong on Brady Road in Jefferson Township at 7:05 p.m. on Tuesday night following the report of a missing person.

When troopers arrived, they found an unoccupied Cris Craft boat partially tied to the dock with the engine running.
The body of a man was discovered submerged just below the surface of the water in the vicinity of the boat. Divers from the New Jersey State Police T.E.A.M.S. Unit recovered the body, Curry said.

This incident is currently being investigated by the authorities.
Parsippany Rescue and Recovery also assisted in the water search, officials said.
