Crash Closes Lanes On I-287 Tuesday Morning

BOONTON, NJ — A crash on Route 287 is closing lanes and causing delays Tuesday morning.

A crash and jack-knifed tractor trailer happened on the northbound lanes near Exit 44 - US 202 in Boonton. The right and center lanes are closed, and there are 15 minute delays.

There are some other delays and lane closures around the county Tuesday morning, according to NJ DOT:

• As of 7:42am, there's an Accident on NJ 23 northbound at South of I-287 in Riverdale. 2 right lanes closed 5 minute delay.
• As of 8:01am, there are Delays on I-80 westbound at Exit 47A - I-280 in Parsippany-Troy Hills Twp delays due to volume.
• As of 7:37am, there are Delays on I-80 eastbound between Exit 34 - NJ 15 in Wharton and Exit 39 - NJ 53 in Denville Twp delays due to volume.
• As of 7:24am, there are Delays on I-80 eastbound between Exit 25 - US 206 in Mount Olive Twp and Exit 37 - CR 513/Hibernia Ave in Rockaway Twp delays due to volume.
• As of 6:50am, there are Delays on NJ 15 southbound between CR 615/Edison Rd and CR 699/Berkshire Valley Rd in Jefferson Twp delays due to volume.
• As of 6:50am, there are Delays on NJ 24 in both directions between I-287 and Exit 2 - CR 510/Columbia Turnpike in Hanover Twp delays due to volume.
• As of 7:01am, there's Construction on I-80 in both directions between Exit 26 - US 46 in Mount Olive Twp and Exit 34 - NJ 15 in Wharton. Left shoulder closed until 2:30 P.M.
