Crash On Rt. 287 Closes 3 Lanes

Injuries involved, backups reaching 20 minutes, traffic reports say.

HANOVER TWP., N.J. – A serious motor vehicle crash has shut down the three left lanes of Route 287 southbound Monday morning, according to multiple traffic services.

The crash occurred in the area of Exit 39 around 11:30 a.m. and lane closures could last anywhere between one and three hours, TransOptions announced.

According to 511nj.org, there are injuries involved and at least a 15-minute backup on the roadway as of noon.
