Get Free Physical Therapy Screenings This Month In Northern NJ

Residents can be screened for fall prevention, pre-operative joint replacement therapy, osteoporosis management and sports screens​.

PARSIPPANY, NJ — Red Bank-based Trinity Rehab is offering free physical screenings all month at Trinity locations in Morristown, Parsippany, Livingston, Sparta and Warren.

During the free screenings, Trinity Rehab said in a news release, a licensed doctor of physical therapy will meet with patients, discuss their medical histories, provide treatment recommendations and make a referral if needed.

The schedule of screenings is as follows:

  • Feb. 10-14 (All north locations): "Pre-Hab" screenings are pre-operative therapy for total hip, knee and shoulder replacements.
  • Feb. 17-21 (All north locations): Osteoporosis Management & Postural Conditioning. These screenings emphasize key exercises for people with osteoporosis that focus on improving posture, strength, flexibility and stability.
  • Feb. 24-28 (All north locations): Pre-Season Spring Sports and Functional Movement Screenings. These exams can find potential risk factors for injury before the spring sports season.
  • Feb. 24–28 (Morristown and Sparta only): Golf Performance Screenings. These screenings are conducted by physical therapists who are also certified golf performance specialists.
