VERNON, NJ — The northeast's largest Oktoberfest is returning to Mountain Creek Resort, and it promises to be larger than ever in its 34th year.

The celebration will take place on Sept. 22 and Sept. 23 at the Vernon resort. Guests can enjoy German food and music, beer, pony rides, and activities for kids and adults. Some food options include specialty sausages, biercheese fries, wiener schnitzel, and sauerbraten served up in the Biergarten, in addition to American favorites like burgers, hot dogs and wings. There will be over 100 types of craft and domestic beers, hard ciders and hard sodas for attendees to try.

In addition to the biergarten, a four course sit down meal is also being served.
