Local Church Recognized For Community Initiatives In Parsippany
Rose House, a nonprofit dedicated to permanent housing for adults with special needs, has awarded Liquid Church of Parsippany.

PARSIPPANY, NJ — A local church has been named this year’s recipient of the Golden Rose Award, presented by Rose House, a nonprofit dedicated to providing permanent housing for adults with special needs.
Liquid Church, located at 299 Webro Road in Parsippany, supported Rose House through its 2024 Fall Outreach program. The church hosted the organization’s anniversary celebration at its Morris County campus, bringing together residents, their families, staff, board members and supporters.
Additionally, Liquid Church parishioners volunteered their time to build a wheelchair ramp and deck at a Rose House group home in Budd Lake.

“This award is our highest honor given to a person or organization that provides exemplary support and advocacy for its community,” said Rose House CEO Tom Mitchell. “Liquid Church also exhibits exceptional dedication for those with special needs every year.”
Beyond its support for Rose House, Liquid Church also hosts the annual “Night to Shine” prom, a free event open to individuals with special needs in the community. The event has become a highlight for many Rose House residents, providing them with a meaningful and inclusive experience.

Liquid Church was presented with the Golden Rose Award during its Christmas Outreach on December 6, 2024. The annual event, a partnership between the church and Rise Against Hunger, hosts meal-packaging initiatives at seven locations across New Jersey.
Several Rose House representatives were on hand to help package meals that will be sent to Zambia and other developing nations, officials said.
Rose House, a nonprofit based in Morris Plains, New Jersey, creates "forever homes" that help make dreams come true for individuals with special needs throughout Morris County. With a vision of an inclusive community where everyone has a loving home, the organization currently operates six locations across the county and is planning a seventh in Chester Township.
