Major, Multi-Month Roadwork Coming To Parsippany

Several roads around the town will be affected.

PARSIPPANY, NJ — A major, multi-month roadwork project begins in Parsippany tomorrow, and police are warning residents that it could affect their commute.

Work on a natural gas pipeline will begin on Brooklawn Drive this Friday, and will hopefully wrap up before school starts. Construction will run between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. If it runs into the school year, construction will move to overnights.

Another section of gas pipeline work will be done within the next few weeks on Littleton Road between Park Road and Brentwood Drive. That work will be overnight, and alternating traffic will most likely be in affect but the road will never be closed, police say.
