Man Attempts To Lure Child Into Car In Parsippany, Police Say

The Parsippany Police Department is looking for a man who approached a juvenile on River Road and attempted to entice them into a car.

PARSIPPANY, NJ — The Parsippany Police Department is attempting to locate the driver of a four-door sedan who allegedly approached a juvenile on River Road and attempted to entice them into his car.

According to police, a silver four-door sedan with window tint and black rims, driven by a black male with a beard, approached a child on Friday morning.

When asked if he needed a ride, the juvenile was told to get into the driver's vehicle. The juvenile stated no, and the vehicle quickly left the area and headed towards Hoffman Avenue, police said.
