Marshalls Announces Opening Date Of Relocated Parsippany Store

Marshalls is moving their Parsippany store to a new location on Route 46, and announced a grand opening this April.

PARSIPPANY, NJ — The Marshalls in Parsippany is getting ready to relocate to its new location several miles away on Route 46, the company announced.

The 25,000-square-foot store in the Westmount-Arlington Plaza (808 U.S. Highway 46) opens on Thursday, April 11, with a grand opening from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Store hours will be from 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sundays.

This will replace the Marshalls at Morris Hills Shopping Center, at 3101 Route 46 East, the company said.

Tim Miner, president of Marshalls, said the newest store "will offer an ever-changing selection of high-quality, on-trend, and brand-name merchandise at the amazing prices that Marshalls is known for."

"We’re excited to bring this experience and exceptional values from fashion and beauty to home and more to a new neighborhood,” he said in a statement.

Other tenants in the Westmount-Arlington Plaza include ShopRite, Staples, Crunch Fitness, Wendy's, Home Depot and IHOP. The plaza owner lists HomeGoods, Salad House, and Urban Air Adventure Park as other businesses arriving soon.

Marshalls is one of the tenants that was slated to replace the former Kmart at Westmount which was shuttered due to financial problems with Sears Holding, the store's parent company. HomeGoods was one of the others, though the opening date for that store has not been announced.

Marshalls is one of the nation's leading off-price family retailers, with over 1,100 locations in 48 states, Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico. It is part of the TJX Companies, which also includes HomeGoods, TJ Maxx, Homesense, and Sierra.

Shoppers will find a variety of high-quality, on-trend, brand-name and designer merchandise for men, women and children, as well as footwear, beauty, accessories and more.
