Montville Teen Seriously Injured In Three Car Crash: Police
A teen driver is in critical condition following a three-car crash.

MONTVILLE, NJ — A Montville teen was seriously injured in a three car crash earlier this week in Mahwah, police said.
Kyle Cooney, 18, from the Towaco section of Montville, was driving a 1992 Corvette when he lost control around a cure on Ramapo Valley Road Monday afternoon, police said. As the car slid out, it struck a second car which sent it into a tailspin and into a third car. Police say they were able to figure out the path of Cooney's car based on skid marks left on the road.
Because of the severity of Cooney's injuries, he was airlifted to Hackensack University Medical Center, where he was listed in critical condition. According to a GoFundMe fundraiser set up for Cooney, he suffered broken bones, ruptured lungs, and a ruptured spleen. A second teen driver, a woman, sustained minor injuries.
