Morris Co. Youth Pastor Used Apps To Meet Underage Girls: SCPO

The prosecutor's office said he used multiple screen names across three different apps to meet underage girls.

MORRIS COUNTY — A youth pastor at a Morris County church is accused of using social media apps to meet underage girls and have sexually explicit chats with them, the Sussex County Prosecutor's Office said.

Darryl Farrier, 38, from Franklin, faces one found of child endangerment and one count of possession of child pornography, Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch said. Farrier allegedly used the messaging apps Whisper, Kik and Meet Me to have explicit chats with underage girls, Koch said.

Farrier used the screen names “Doug,” “Hangten0, “Pallyi_Possum,” “Dmann4789” or “Dmann347," Koch said.
