Crash With Injuries On I-80 Remains Under Investigation, Police Say
An overturned dump truck in Morris County prompted commuting delays in the area Wednesday morning, authorities said.

MORRIS COUNTY, NJ ā An official investigation is ongoing following an overturned dump truck on Interstate 80 that injured two people on Wednesday morning, according to authorities.
According to Lawrence Peele of the New Jersey State Police, preliminary information indicates that a dump truck was struck in the rear by a Honda Fit near milepost 42.8, causing the truck to overturn and fall across the roadway.
Both of the drivers sustained non-life-threatening injuries as a result of the collision, and the roadway was closed for approximately three hours this afternoon.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation, Peele said.
