Parsipanny Officials Team With ShopRite to Dispose of Plastic Bags on America Recycles Day

PARSIPANNY, N.J.– Mayor James Barberio is asking residents to join him and the township's recycling and sanitation division on Nov. 15 at ShopRite for a recycling event.

The effort is part of America Recycles Day, a national initiative to keep America beautiful, according to the website.

Plastic bags will be collected from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m., according to Barberio.

"We will also be providing information about the do’s and don’ts of curb side recycling as well as, general information on all types of recycling," he said.
