Parsippany Burglary Suspect On The Loose: Police

The Parsippany Police Department is looking for a man who broke into a home Thursday morning, police say.

PARSIPPANY, NJ — Parsippany residents are on alert after a homeowner caught a man breaking into their home on Ferncliff Road, police said. The early morning break-in was first reported shortly after 6 a.m.

Parsippany police posted on Facebook Thursday morning that they and officers from nearby police departments "will be maintaining a presence in the area" after they failed to catch the man, who ran out of the house when the homeowner spotted him.

The suspect is described as a tall male wearing dark clothing, according to police.

The homeowner told police the suspect did not make any threats and no weapons were seen.
