Parsippany Police Reach Out to Community at Fall Festival
Officers talk with residents about safety, job duties, and protecting residents.
Another Fall Festival and another great way for the residents of Parsippany to learn more about one another.
The Parsippany Police Department came by the event and set up a booth to distribute safety information, educational materials and brochures regarding distracted driving, coloring books describing what police officers do and also displayed various types of drugs for identification purposes.
They explained the awareness and effects of controlled dangerous substances such as the abuse of prescription medication and addiction to heroin, cocaine, tobacco and alcohol. They also handed out information on how to call 9-1-1.
