Parsippany Vikings Conquer 10U Baseball Championship

Boys of summer show resilience, beat team they previously lost to twice.

Parsippany, N.J. – The Vikings have successfully completed their conquest.

Parsippany’s 10U Vikings baseball team showed how resilient they are on June 19 in the USABL championship game, squeaking out a one-run win over Nutley to take home the title.

The Vikings previously lost to the Nutley Raiders twice during the regular season before meeting in the championship contest. The Vikings slipped for a moment, letting up eight run sin the bottom of the sixth inning to let the Raiders tie the game, but the boys from Parsippany countered with a run in the top of the seventh inning and shut the door with a 1-2-3 bottom of the seventh to close it out.
