Warren Hills alum asking school district to rename football field to Evan Murray Memorial Field.

More than 2,500 signatures were added to a petition in less than 24 hours calling for Warren Hills Regional High School to rename its football field after Evan Murray.
Murray, a three-year starting quarterback for the Blue Streaks, was hit during a play Friday, Sept. 24, and came off the field under his own power, but was “woozy.”
He was taken to Morristown Medical Center that night and later pronounced dead. Results of the autopsy were not yet available Monday afternoon.
