Report Complaints, Concerns In Parsippany With New App And Website
Here's how to report code violations, infrastructure concerns, sidewalk issues, or other problems in the township.
PARSIPPANY, NJ — Township residents have a new process to report problems and concerns in their neighborhood through a mobile app and website. This includes everything from fallen trees and potholes, to possible animal cruelty or code violations.
Parsippany-Troy Hills officials said they are working to streamline municipal operations in partnership with New Jersey-based software provider GovPilot. This will allow the township to simplify government processes and communicate better with citizens, officials said in a news release.
Officials said that through the Report-A-Concern module, citizens have a direct line of communication with the township about ways the community can be improved or about issues that need to be addressed.

When citizens or officials make a report on the app or website, it is forwarded to the relevant department to be documented and addressed.

Mayor James R. Barberio said he thinks the new system will help officials become more accessible and responsive to residents, and "improve how concerns move from the residents to our employees."
"I think this will provide a quicker resolution and a clear indication to the residents of how that resolution was achieved," he said. "We will continue to adapt our procedures as needed to better serve the residents of Parsippany.”
