Rt. 46 Lane Closures To Last Through The Weekend

PARSIPPANY, NJ — Route 46 lane closures will last through much of the weekend now, Parsippany police said Friday afternoon. They were originally expected to wrap up at 5 p.m. on Friday.

The right lane and shoulder of Route 46 East between Columbus Way near the Wendy's and Smith Road near the reservoir will remain closed through noon on Sunday. It closed at 9 a.m. on Friday and was expected to open by the end of the workday, but has been extended.

Drivers should plan ahead.
