Rt. 53 Closed In Both Directions In Denville

DENVILLE, NJ — Route 53 is closed in both directions in Denville Thursday morning, police said.
The road is closed between Station Road and Fox Hill Road because of a damaged utility pole and downed wires. Traffic is being diverted onto Lackawanna Ave.
JCP&L is on scene working to get power back up. Drivers should expect traffic in both directions.
