Sheriff's Office K-9 Passes Away In Morris Co.

K-9 Udin served with the Morris County Sheriff's Office for six years before retiring in 2016.

MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — Morris County Sheriff K-9 Udin passed away just two years into his retirement, the Canine unit said.

Udin began his career in 2010 when he was 3 years old. He worked with Detective Warnett where he trained to be a patrol and narcotics detection K-9. After that, he trained with Detective Hanna and "served the Citizens of Morris County with pride and diligence," the unit said.

Udin worked for six years in the county, aiding with investigations, finding missing people, fleeing suspects, and finding drugs.
