Teen Driver Killed In Weekend Crash On I-80 In Morris County
The victim has since been identified as 19-year-old Cameron Ray of Flanders.
MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — A teenage driver was killed early Sunday morning after his car slammed into a truck parked on the shoulder of Interstate 80 in Morris County, New Jersey State Police said.
Cameron Ray, 19, from Flanders, was driving at 5:40 a.m. when his car veered onto the shoulder of the highway near milepost 38.2 in Denville, colliding with a parked vehicle, according to New Jersey State Police Sgt. Charles Marchan.
Ray sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.

The driver of the box truck, identified as Anthony Cotter, sustained minor injuries in the crash, police said.
The crash remains under investigation.
