WATCH: Backyard Bear Takes A Dip In North Jersey Pool
The heat was too much for one bruin on Father's Day.
Mendham Twp., NJ — Father's Day in northern New Jersey was hot. So hot that one bear decided to use a Mendham Township home's in-ground pool to cool off.
In the video below, created by Ron McNeil of Mendham Township, the bear can be seen wading through the water. The family told nj.com the incident occurred around 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 20, and the bear hung around for a good 10 to 15 minutes.
