PARSIPPANY, NJ — A water main break is affecting traffic and some businesses' water pressure in Parsippany on Tuesday, officials said.

New Road is closed in both directions between Edwards Road/Route 280 (near Wawa) and Route 46 East, police said. This is also affecting traffic on the Route 46 exit ramp, where all lanes are closed, per 511nj.org.

Crews are working in front of 222 New Road to repair the water main break. Businesses between 141 and 239 New Road are expected to have little to no water pressure until repairs are completed and service restored.
