WDHA Sponsoring Rock N Roll Blood Drive At Rockaway Mall
Contribute to a good cause and meet your favorite rock radio DJs at this event.
ROCKAWAY, NJ — Rock radio station WDHA is sponsoring "Rock N Roll Up Your Sleeve Blood Drive" next weekend at the Rockaway Townsquare Mall. Donors will be able to meet their favorite WDHA DJs.
The blood drive will be held next Saturday, Sept. 22, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the mall, and will benefit the Community Blood Center. The DJs will be broadcasting live from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Anyone who donates will also receive a limited edition WDHA Rock N Roll Up Your Sleeves pint glass.
“The blood supply almost always drops during the summer months, and we’re faced with an urgent need for blood donations,” explains Robert Kessler, director of Recruitment for Community Blood Services. This event is our way of trying to help improve the situation.”
