Weeks Old Puppy Found In Rain In Morris Co.

The little pup was found outside in the rain Saturday night. Is it yours?

MOUNTAIN LAKES, NJ — A puppy just several weeks old was found outside in the rain Saturday night, and the Montville Animal Shelter wants to reunite it with its owner.

The puppy was found in Mountain Lakes, and is between five and eight weeks old with no microchip, the shelter said. They did not share a photo, description or breed, and are asking anyone who is missing a puppy to call the shelter and provide a description.

"No picture will be posted as this pup is 5-8 weeks old. If anyone calls to claim the puppy they will have to describe the pup as proof of ownership," the shelter said.

Although the pup is "comfy cozy with a big stuffed puppy to snuggle with," the shelter said, they still want to see them reunited with family.

"If it was lost you would think they would be calling every where to find it," they said. The shelter's phone number is 973-334-6410 .
