Who Is Tagging 'Stoop Kid' All Over Hanover?

Police are looking for the spray painter, who tagged the town over the weekend.

HANOVER, NJ — Who is spraying "Stoop Kid" all over Hanover? That's what police want to know after a crop of graffiti turned up over the weekend.

Police say someone sprayed the phrase on over 20 township stop signs, something known as "tagging." It was also found on other township properties. "Stoop kid" is likely a reference to the 1990s television series "Hey Arnold," which features a character who never leaves his front stoop and goes by that moniker.

Police want to know who sprayed the phrase, and are looking for the public's help. Anyone with information should call Det. Dave Littman at 973-428-2505.
