POINT PLEASANT BEACH – Two people have filed to run for election in the Point Pleasant Beach Council primary election in July.

Council President Thomas H. Migut and Councilwoman Caryn S. Byrnes have filed to run for re-election to two seats in the July 7 primary.

No Democrats have filed, so the two candidates will run unopposed – unless independents file to run – in the November election.
