2 Women Charged After Bar Fight: Point Pleasant Police Blotter
The fight was among the incidents released in the April police blotter.

POINT PLEASANT, NJ — Two women were charged with simple assault following a fight outside a bar in Point Pleasant in early April, Point Pleasant police said.
That fight was one of two among the incidents released in the police blotter report for April by the Point Pleasant Police Department.
In addition to the fight, three people were arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated.

The first fight happened just after midnight on April 6, Capt. Christopher Leonhardt said. Officer Robert Cooper responded to a disturbance in the parking lot of a local bar and grill restaurant and found Desiree Megill, 25, of Jackson, and Nicole Markese, 28, of Manchester, fighting, Leonhardt said.
Cooper "promptly intervened and charged both parties with simple assault," Leonhardt said. They received summonses for future court dates and were released.

There were no details on what prompted the fight.
The second was reported at 7:44 p.m. on April 29, Leonhardt said.
Daniel Kester, 42, of Point Pleasant, got into a fight with a ride-share operator on Maxson Avenue, he said. Officer Robert Tobias charged Kester with simple assault on a summons and he was released pending a court date.
The following people were charged with driving under the influence:
- April 20: Michael Isselin, 26 of Brick, at 1:39 a.m. on Route 88 by Officer Michael Cappello;
- April 22: Fredi Arpimoscoso, 38, of Brick, at 2:23 a.m. on Route 88 by Officer Cappello;
- April 28: John Henderson, 20, of Brick, at 2:16 a.m. on River Avenue by Officer Cappello.
