Area Residents Still Chipping In To Help Family That Lost Father

POINT PLEASANT, NJ -Area residents have not forgotten Peter Martorana, the borough resident who was killed in a construction accident back in October.

Martorana, 35, left behind his wife and three young children.

The Gofundme account set up on their behalf has reached $79,248, more than three-quarters of the $100,000 goal, according to the account post.

"Although we've never met, our hearts go out to you," Kerstin and Phil Norton wrote. "We hope you find strength through the support of the friends and family that surround you. Please know so many people are thinking and praying for your entire family."
