Battle Of The Bands Ready To Rock Point Pleasant Beach
A dozen bands are scheduled to battle it out on the shores of Little Silver Lake.
POINT PLEASANT BEACH, NJ — Get ready for a night of music as local bands put on a show at the third annual Point Beach Battle of the Bands.
The event is scheduled for 5 p.m.-9:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 8, at the band shell at the corner of Arnold and Baltimore avenues on the shore of Little Silver Lake. The winning act takes home a $1,000 grand prize.
There is a $5 admission charge for 2024 ("Bring cash and beach chairs," the Point Pleasant Beach Recreation Committee said) and there will be food for sale from Bam Bam Burger, Prime 13 and Mugsy's Mercantile. Last Wave Brewing will be selling its craft beer.

The event is presented by the Point Pleasant Beach Chamber of Commerce and the Point Pleasant Beach Recreation Committee with support from Pine Belt Auto Group and Tom Hanley's Jersey Rock show on 95.9 WRAT.
The bands scheduled to participate include 2023 champion Baron Praxis (@baron_praxis.nj), Mad World (@officialmadworld), Leopard Monks (@leopardmonks), Johnny Weasel the Band (@johnny_weasel_the_band), Black Inti (@black.inti), Soup (@soupband_official), The Well Wish (@thewellwish), Sunrise Cries (@sunrise_cries_band), Internet Humor (@internet_hum0r), Atomic Battery (@atomicbatteryofficial) and Via Crowe (@via.crowe).
