Why are you running?
Having worked in the corporate sector for the past 20 years allows me to see matters differently. As Board of Ed members, we each have a job to do and that is safeguarding the educational experience for all students--because All Children Matter.
I have witnessed the challenges students face trying to maintain a balanced life. My focus is finding a balance between making sure the students get everything they need for a positive experience while working within the budgetary constraints remembering that there needs to be a give and take from all sides to achieve balance.
Do you have previous experience in the world of politics and government?
It has been my privilege to serve on the school board since January of 2019, and I would be honored to be re-elected to another term. I had also worked as an investigator with the NJ State ABC for several years.
What are the most important issues facing your constituency, and how do you plan to deal with it?
Recognizing the fact that budget cuts from the state will continue and efficient spending is a necessity. I will focus on listening to the Business Administrator and the Superintendent while firmly keeping all students in the center of every voting decision I make.
Why should voters vote for me?
I am not afraid to rock the boat.
