'Fiddler on the Roof' Opened Wednesday Night at Point Pleasant Borough High School
Show runs through Saturday night
Tradition lives on at Point Pleasant Borough High School where "Fiddler on the Roof" opened Wednesday night.
Students in the school's performing arts department had their final dress rehearsal on Tuesday night and are now performing the classic musical through Saturday night.
The performances are scheduled for 7 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday and 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

In the play, all of the Jewish villagers look to tradition as a guide in their lives.
Tradition regulates marriage, dancing, dress, food consumption and who can interact with whom—especially regarding Jewish/Russian relations.
While Tevye, the father, upholds these traditions to the best of his ability, the times are changing.
