Fundraiser was Sunday for Point Boro H.S. Grad's Medical Expenses
Joey Josephs was injured in a snowboarding accident
A fundraiser was held on Sunday for a graduate recently injured in a snowboarding accident in Colorado.
Joey Josephs, 19, is currently in critical condition and all proceeds will be used for his medical care, according to his family members planning the event.
The event was held from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at The Headliner, 1401 Highway 35 South, Neptune City.

The admission price was $20. The family is asking those who cannot attend to please make a donation.
Lois Jacobson, Joey's grandmother, said he graduated last year from Borough High School and had then attended the Ecotech Institute for Renewable Energy. Jacobson is chairperson of the Borough Climate Action Committee and also volunteers with the League of Women Voters.
