GoFundMe: Point Pleasant Boy Needs Your Help

A Gofundme account has been established for 9-year-old with multiple medical issues, a handicap-accessible vehicle is needed.

Point Pleasant resident Robert Conway turns 9 on Friday. He has multiple medical issues but keeps on going, despite his development, physical and medical challenges.

His family wants to buy a handicap-accessible vehicle to get Robert to his doctors' appointments at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. The family plans to buy the new vehicle by the end of the year, but it will need mobility modifications to accommodate his wheelchair and medical equipment, according to his GoFundMepage.

"He is getting bigger, which brings new challenges for mobility," the page states. "Getting him in and out of the car is becoming very difficult."

The mobility modifications needed will cost $13,000, and that does not include the price of the new vehicle.

"We will need to purchase this new vehicle before the end of the year, the post states. "Any help to offset the cost of these much-needed modifications would be greatly appreciated.
