How Much Snow Did Point Pleasant, Point Pleasant Beach Get?
The cleanup continues across New Jersey Sunday after a nor'easter that dropped as much as 21 inches of snow in some areas.

POINT PLEASANT, NJ — A day after a nor'easter dumped as much as 21 inches of snow in New Jersey, cleanup work is ongoing including in Point Pleasant and Point Pleasant Beach on Sunday.
Officials said plow crews were working through the night Saturday into Sunday to get the roads cleared.
Point Pleasant received 17 inches of snow, and Point Beach received 17.5 inches of snow, according to totals reported to the National Weather Service.

Point Pleasant Beach Mayor Paul Kanitra said the town has nine trucks with two-man crews on the roads and urged patience. He also urged people to stay home.
"The Police are asking you not to go out unless it’s absolutely necessary. I can tell you firsthand, if you don’t have a HEAVY vehicle with good 4 wheel drive you’re almost guaranteed to get stuck," he said.

If you waited until Sunday to shovel, remember to push the snow instead of lifting, and drink plenty of water. Remember to shovel out around any fire hydrants near your home.
And dress warmly as temperatures were set to drop into the single digits overnight and were expected to stay cold for the start of the day.
