Hydrant Flushing To Begin In Point Beach On Oct. 16, Will Continue Into November
Low water pressure, slight discoloration of water may occur, water department says

POINT PLEASANT BEACH, NJ - Don't be alarmed if your water pressure drops temporarily or your water is slightly discolored over the next few weeks.
The Point Pleasant Beach Water Department will be flushing the hydrants in the distribution system, according to an announcement on the borough's website.
"This is part of our continuing effort to deliver the best quality water possible," the post states.

The flushing will be done only on weekdays, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The work will start on Monday, Oct. 16 through Friday, Nov. 10..
"We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your cooperation," the post states.
