Hydrant Flushing Schedule Announced In Point Pleasant Beach

POINT PLEASANT BEACH, NJ — The Point Pleasant Beach Water Department will be flushing the distribution system starting in mid-April, officials announced.

The flushing is scheduled for 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays only beginning Monday, April 14 with an estimated completion of Friday, May 9.

The flushing is to clear debris so the borough can "deliver the best quality water possible," officials said.

Residents may experience temporary low pressure or discoloration during the flushing.
