Point Pleasant will be flushing fire hydrants for six weeks, part of regular maintenance for the borough's water system.
POINT PLEASANT, NJ — The Point Pleasant Water Department will be flushing water mains throughout the borough beginning Wednesday, borough officials announced.
The routine maintenance is anticipated to take six weeks to complete and will be done Mondays through Fridays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Residents can expect discolored water as a result of the flushing and will clear up as the flushing moves out of a particular area, the water department said.
