Jersey Shore Beach Report: Can It Get Much Better Than This?
There are few perfect days, but comfortable temperatures, low humidity and plenty of sunshine are in the forecast.

JERSEY SHORE, NJ — Low humidity, lots of sunshine and no thunderstorms. In short, the forecast looks like it could be a nearly perfect beach weekend at the Jersey Shore.
Here's a look from Patch at the expected conditions for July 26-28. The National Weather Service is calling for sunny skies at the beach through Monday, with the potential for rain and thunderstorms returning on Tuesday.
Rip current risk is low this weekend, according to the weather service.

Bay nettles and sea lice have been showing up in the bays and along the oceanfront for the last few weeks, causing discomfort for waders and bathers up and down the coast.
Reports in the New Jersey Jellyspotters Facebook group have mentioned them in Barnegat Bay and in Point Pleasant Beach, along with Cape May County beaches.
Paul Bologna, the Montclair State professor and jellyfish expert who administrates the New Jersey Jellyspotters group, said the jellyfish population in the bays has risen significantly in part because there are so many places the jellyfish larva can spend the winter in relative safety before they reproduce in the spring.
The switch from creosote-covered docks and pilings because of concerns about toxins to other materials has created more places for them to grow, because the creosote killed the jellyfish larva, too.
Regulars at Tices Shoal, a popular hangout for boaters to gather as a group on sunny days, have reported few jellyfish sightings there.
The status of clinging jellyfish was not known Friday as the state Department of Environmental Protection's monitoring map was not available.
