Two Charged with Weapons Possession in Point Beach
Drunken driving, drug and disorderly conduct charges also filed

Two Point Beach men were charged with possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose in Point Beach, police said on Thursday.
Antonio Garcia, 23, and Miguel A. Cajal-Valera, 39, were arrested on Hawthorne Avenue by Officer Kyle Boturla at 11:39 p.m. May 24, police said.

Between May 22 and May 28, police also filed the following charges: three drunken driving; 11 disorderly conduct; three simple assault; four possession of controlled dangerous substances (CDS) and/or drug paraphernalia; one charge of criminal mischief; three resisting arrest and two trespassing.
Police said in a prepared statement that the media and public are reminded that criminal charges are merely accusations and these defendants are presumed innocent until and unless they are proven guilty.
