When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered that someone had forced entry into the main building "before forcing entry into numerous interior offices," the statement says. "There was substantial damage to many of the interior office doors. The respective office personnel are determining if anything was taken from within.
"Along with the Point Pleasant Police Department, the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department K-9 Unit and Criminalistics Unit assisted with the initial response.

To the rear of the gray office building, damaged office doors lay on the ground and up against a railing as a repairman worked in a truck nearby early Friday afternoon. There was also yellow caution tape across the open doorway on the second floor in the rear.
On the first floor is Shore Podiatry, a dentist office and a chiropractor's office. On the second floor is Terry Perko Agency Inc., a Realty firm run by Roger Pyrtko.
This is at least the fourth break-in at a Bridge Avenue business in the last several months.
