There are 5 registered sex offenders in the Point Pleasant-Point Pleasant Beach area, according to the New Jersey State Police Sex Offender Registry.

They are all Tier II offenders, which means they are at moderate risk of committing another offense, according to New Jersey's Megan's Law.

Convicted sex offenders must register while they are till incarcerated. They must notify the police department of the town they are planning to move in to upon their release.
