POINT PLEASANT BEACH, NJ - A crash and downed pole on Rt. 35 in Point Pleasant Beach has prompted commuting delays Thursday morning, authorities said.

As of 4:28 a.m., there’s a crash and utility pole down on Rt. 35 northbound north of CR 633/Arnold Avenue in Point Pleasant Beach, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation.

One left lane is currently closed; there is a 5- to 10-minute delay, the agency said.
