Point Pleasant Beach Offers Skating Until Dec. 31
The parking lot at Silver Lake will serve as the ice rink.
POINT PLEASANT BEACH - Like to ice skate? Don't feel like traveling far?
Then come to the Silver Lake parking lot on Dec. 31. The borough and the Chamber of Commerce are setting up a rink in the parking lot for just $5 for half an hour and that includes the cost of rental skates.
Or bring your own skates and skate for just $3 for half an hour. Food and beverage vendors and merchants will be on the site, according to the borough's website.

Skating hours will run from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. on all days.
The rink will be closed on Christmas Day.
